So yesterday we found out the names for the boy’s Baseball and the youngest daughters Softball teams.
The Daughter has a infatuation with Lions and Tigers. It borders on a complete obsession really. From screaming ‘LLLLLIIIIIIIIOOONNNNNNNNN!’ so loud it nearly burst my eardrum during the safari at Disney’s Animal Kingdom to sleeping under a [...]
I was taking a break from working on the jeep this afternoon to grab some lunch. I was flipping through the channels and happened to stop on ABC’s Family Channel. They were airing a spot for their new series Slacker Cats. Now keep in mind… this is about 1:30p on a [...]
Does anyone else hear the National Lampoon theme music playing in their head when they read that title?
So about a year ago Rush Limbaugh was caught returning from a vacation with a supply of improperly prescribed Viagra. It was quickly revealed that Rush was vacationing in the Dominican Republic. This immediately set off [...]

Iwao Takamoto, the animator who created the beloved Scooby-Doo and directed the cartoon classic Charlotte’s Web, has died. He was 81.
Takamoto died Monday of heart failure at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Warner Bros. spokesman Gary Miereanu said.
In a career that spanned more than six decades, Takamoto assisted in [...]
(otherwise known as ‘the part that interfered with baseball and beer’) was spent at the Philadelphia Zoo and Brandywine Creek State Park in Delaware.
The kids (all 6 of ‘em, we were visiting the sister-in-law for the weekend) really enjoyed the zoo. The big hits were the Gorillas and the Otters. The Otters are [...]
Holy crap… I’m freaking exhausted. Really. I’m heading off to bed after this and 12:10a is damn early for me to go to sleep. The no Disney Orlando trip is working far better than I ever expected. And its cheaper ‘n shit as well. The only major expense (time [...]
Currently sitting in a Days Inn in Savannah, GA taking advantage of the free wireless they now provide. The hotel last night had not yet installed their equipment but I was able to grab a signal (barely) from the FlyingJ truckstop next door. I assume the FlyingJ was free because I turned on [...]
A few days ago I mentioned the new biometrics Disney is requiring (in Orlando at least (for now)) of all ticket holders in order to get into their parks. Today someone forwarded me a new article (link below) and, just like I predicted, Disney is no longer even hiding why they are doing it:
Disney [...]
We’re scheduled to head down to our timeshare in Orlando next month. Looks like we won’t be going to any of the Disney parks this year.
Finger Scanning At Disney Parks Causes Concern
The addition of finger scanning technology at the entrances of Walt Disney World theme parks for all visitors has caused concern among privacy [...]
Currently sitting in a room at the Days Inn in Savannah, GA (employee rate $15, yeeha). With the exception of about 45 minutes of rain today, we totally managed to skirt around Hurricane Charlie today.
We left Rocky Mount, NC around 9am and hauled ass south since we heard they expected Charlie to landfall again [...]
Remember how I bitched last week about the DP manager being on vacation while I had to deal with all the broken shit? And remember how I was happy that he was sitting in the Outer Banks while a hurricane rolled though? Remember that?
Well we’re supposed to leave Friday morning on vacation to [...]
So updates have been pretty light lately. If you haven’t happened to notice, several things (mainly politics) have been driving me freaking insane over the past few weeks.
Clarke has joined the ever growing list of people who will say and do whatever it takes just to sell a few more books. The [...]
