Author: Ok, a few entries ago I made fun of the Dixie Chicks for stating they ‘were no longer country’.
Is it me or did this statement seem to make Hollywood very happy? Over the past two weeks I noticed distinct references to the Dixie Chicks in three shows. I don’t remember the first one since it didn’t really stand out. The second one was on E.R. last week. ‘You don’t like the Dixie Chicks? Who doesn’t like the Dixie Chicks’. That sorta caught my attention.
I Finally watched last weeks Angel EP on the Tivo last night. This was the worst one of all. We’re talking several lines of dialog while the speaking character is off center shot while the left 2/3 of the screen is full of a Dixie Chick’s poster. The poster ended up in about 3 seperate scenes.
So am I imagining things or what?
