…and you can run it anyway you like. I will say this however; If you post political comments and leave the comments open, you have to expect that some people (like say… me) who have a different opinion will post. Suprisingly enough, they might not even agree with you. Shocking, I know. That being said, when you filter out the comments you apparently don’t like (i.e.: the ones that don’t agree with you) not only do you marginalize your site, but you also say to the commentor (me) that the response posted (mine) was so rock solid and sensible, that you couldn’t even refute it… you had to bury it. Just in case anyone else is wondering, the comment was not nasty, rude or overly vulgar in any way (I did use that nasty ’s’ word).

Oddly enough, for some reason I actually expected you to do that. Thats why I saved a screen shot of your original post as well as the text of my comment. I guess if I was a complete ass, I could post those here. But I’m not (at least today) so I won’t.

If anyones wondering what site I’m talking about, I’m not going to directly name names… Lets just say its a blogger who complained about how unsafe it was for PA to not require motorcycle riders to wear helmets (he had apparently come across the aftermath of a motorcycle accident)… then a few weeks later wrote a giddy post about riding in a friends car and how fast they were driving…. along with a picture showing the speedometer clocking in at over 130mph. On public roads. Go figure that logic.

Uhg. I hate when people do stuff like that.

I always enjoy dissenting opinions. It’s nice to have someone offer an alternative view on certain subjects.

  • “I did use that nasty ’s’ word”

Was it “shypocrite”? No, I think I just made that one up…

  • yeah, i think it’s useful when someone suggests that maybe mr. t might have some specific technical skills which are superior to macgyver. it really makes me think…
