On a quiet Sunday morning December 7, 1941 a Japanese surprise air attack left the Pacific Fleet in smoldering heaps of broken, twisted steel. Here, peace was interrupted and paradise lost. In hours, 2,390 futures were stolen, half of these casualties from the battleship Arizona.

If you are looking for a good way to see something of that day first hand, check out the Baltimore Maritime Museum at the Inner Harbor. The USCGC Taney is the last remaining ship that was at Pearl Harbor. It only 7 or 8 bucks to visit and they did a fantastic display and documentary on it. I used to work there – if you like it, Thanks, if not. Well I think you’ll like it
